Welcome! Here is what to expect at Eller Art Studio. 

ART LESSONS:

Art lessons are held at my home studio in Provo, Utah. After submitting this form I will send you my address, I can't wait! Art lessons are 1 hour, once a week. This time includes setting up, creating art, and cleaning up. Class size is up to 6 students. Students will focus on painting and drawing.

Students may spend anywhere from 1 week to 6+ weeks on a project. Making art takes time, because of this students may not take art home every week. I help my students make art that is tailored to their interests, making it more meaningful and personal to them. Sometimes I pick the project and give guidelines to work within to help build their skill and other times they pick their project and get to lead their own way. This also take time. Student will always bring home finished pieces when they are ready to be adored.

All supplies are provided in class.

Please walk your child to the door for the first art class, I will give you a tour of the studio 5 minutes before your child's first art class starts and then be ready to pick them up at the end of class. I look forward to meeting you!

PAYMENT:
Tuition is paid monthly, at the beginning of the month, by the 9th through Venmo. If your payment is late, paid on or after the 10th, you will be charged with a $10 late fee. Monthly tuition is based on the number of classes in that month. Each art class is $25.

REFUNDS: I'm sorry, there are no refunds for tuition.

PARKING:
You may park on the street during art lessons, but be sure to face the correct direction when parking-- especially if you are leaving your car. Provo can get picky about that! There is also a church parking I believe is fine to park in too. 

ATTENDANCE: 

Students are expected to arrive at their lesson ON TIME, within the first 5 minutes of class. 

LATE POLICY: 

It is extremely important for students to arrive on time as arrival times directly impact the progress of the class. If your student is more than 15 minutes late, the class is forfeited and you will still be charged for class. 

If you are LATE FOR PICK UP then PLEASE TEXT ME AND LET ME KNOW YOU ARE ON YOUR WAY. IF more than 15 minutes late you will be charged a $20 babysitting fee each time you are late. 

MISSED CLASS: 

If you miss a class, (know you will be out of town, have something come up, or forget about art class) you will still be charged for the class. I do not have a make-up policy at this time. This holds your child's spot in the class (and helps pay for supplies) since class size is kept small in order to give quality instructor time. Thank you for understanding and supporting my small women owned business. 

SICK POLICY: Please do not allow your child to come to class sick.

TEACHER CANCELLED CLASS: 

Eller Art Studio reserves the right to cancel a lesson for any reason. You will not be charged for the class, but a credit will be given for the next month.

TERMINATION OF ART LESSONS:

Please send a text a couple weeks in advance so that I can plan accordingly and give the students time to finish the project they are working.  You may text or email saying something similar to: "This is my two week notice to withdraw from class. Our last day is...." or "I wanted to give you a heads up, we have to decided to stop art class and we would like the finish out the month"

ART SHOW:
I will host art shows about once a year to showcase student artwork. This helps show off their hard work and allows then to put themselves out there. Putting yourself out there is important not only for artists, but for everybody. It's important to learn how to give and receive feedback and support others. And as a parent, I know how much it means to have these opportunities to show up for your child and be proud of them.
